(Senior) Software Architect - Energy Saving Solutions (*)

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our talented team at ista SE. As a Software Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of software solutions using Java with Spring Boot, Angular, Ionic Framework, Kubernetes, and Azure (to name a few). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient and scalable architectural designs that align with ista's vision and technology strategy. In detail: 

• Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners and development teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions using Java with Spring Boot, Angular, Ionic Framework, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for performance optimization, scalability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential integration into ista's software architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, continuous integration, and delivery processes.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java development and Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular and Ionic Framework is a plus.
• Experience with containerization using Kubernetes and deployment on Azure cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
